very nice driver quality MG TD Mark II Competition Roadster.A frame up restoration was completed in about 1969 and the car was us as a Sunday driver for several years then put away and only driven a cupule times a year after that. Always stored inside and well maintained. (Speedo shows 07701 miles.) The family has decided to sale as they seldom drive the car. This is the Mark II Competition model with the XPAG more highly tuned engine using 8.1:1 compression ratio giving 57 bhp at 5,500 rpm. The TD MK II also featured twin fuel pumps, additional Andrex dampers, and a higher ratio rear-axle. The engine is the original and it runs strong.Only about 1700 Mark II Competition models were produced from 1950 to 1953. (Very rare MG) The car is showing some ageing, with a couple of slight imperfections in the paint, and some ware on the edge of the lower seat bottoms not on the seats tops. Tires are older but look good. The car is done in it's original Pale Yellow paint with Tan interior. It has the matching convertible top, matching side windows that store in the back inside compartment, and cockpit cover, all in great condition. All chrome is very nice and it has wing windows off the wind screen, luggage rack at the rear, original owners manual MG maintenance manual, all come with, also the wiper blades are stored in the glove box. The car drive nicely, but dose need some detailing to show better. This is a very nice MG TD Mark II that shows well as is and is a blast to drive.
